This sustainable visionary Curriculum provides learners with competency-based high-quality education delivered by our dedicated and highly qualified professional teachers. Shamoja Group of Schools maintains academic excellence by upholding a small teacher-learner ratio, thus ensuring that each learner gets the attention they require in order to excel. Spiritual Foundation
Shamoja is a Christian school, and we cherish the spiritual growth of our learners. We have a robust Program of Pastoral Instruction (PPI). We have a school anthem and school prayer that holds us together and reminds us of where our true strength, wisdom and success lies – in our Lord Jesus Christ.
CARE is our way of describing wellbeing at Shamoja. Our wellbeing program is designed to help learners have a strong sense of who they are within a moral framework to navigate an increasingly complex world. Care of self, care for others, care of the spirit and care for the community.
Sports.
Learners participate in our extensive sports program both at House level and interclass competitions. Sport is a compulsory aspect of school life for all learners. The high level of engagement and performance of Shamoja learners in a wide variety of sports is a real feature of school life and not only gives them an edge in competition but also enhances the great sense of enjoyment, commitment, and sportsmanship.
Music and Drama.
There is a very long tradition of outstanding performance in music and drama at Shamoja. With thriving music and drama department, our learners participate in choir bands, plays, poems, traditional folk songs offered at all levels of the school.
Student Leadership
Learners are provided with Leadership opportunities. They can choose to lead in the Students Council which mimics the Kenyan government structure. Learners may vie for positions such as School President, Vice President, Cabinet Secretaries and Permanent Secretaries. Students Motivation We enjoy rewarding learners who excel academically and in co-curricular activities. Learners who need development are given the necessary attention by their teachers at no extra cost to the parent.
